About CTI

FROM THE DIRECTOR

Luce Hall

In 1978 a visionary generation planted a tree on the commons of advanced research in Princeton, one of the world's intellectual capitals. They called it the Center of Theological Inquiry. It stands today as they intended, an environment for fresh thinking.

Rooted in the Christian Faith and its quest for understanding, the Center invites outstanding scholars from around the world and all faiths to pursue advanced study in all branches of theological inquiry as members of its residential community in Princeton. Our hope is that they will be changed by their conversation and change our understanding.

For the Center to flourish, we rely on the gratitude of our scholars and supporters. We welcome applications from scholars who are grateful for our environment. We welcome donations from supporters who are thankful for our fresh thinking.
