LEADING BROADCASTER JOINS CTI BOARD

Krista Tippett, a Peabody Award-winning broadcaster on American public radio, has joined the Center's Board of Trustees. Krista hosts the show, 'Speaking of Faith', where she has pioneered in-depth, hour-long conversations with exceptional thinkers and practitioners in religion and ethics, making an innovative contribution to media reporting on theology. Her show has recently been given a major grant from the Lilly Endowment to make its imaginative and informative program materials more widely available to churches. Speaking of her own faith in the work of CTI as a new trustee, she says, "The Center of Theological Inquiry is one of the world's primary centers of globally-relevant, intellectually rigorous, profoundly ecumenical scholarship and encounter. In the 21st Century, such work is becoming increasingly critical to every aspect of thought and life. Under Will Storrar's leadership, the CTI is rising to this challenge with brilliance and innovation."
