APPLY

Applications are welcome from scholars in the field of theology and other academic disciplines whose advanced research proposal will further the Center’s aim and contribute to the Center’s interdisciplinary Colloquium on theological questions. Applicants must have received their doctorate or equivalent terminal degree before making application and be open to the Center’s interdisciplinary approach and ecumenical ethos in their work. Research Proposals must focus on advanced work beyond the publication of a doctoral dissertation. Membership is given at the invitation of the Director for the sole purpose of the major research proposal submitted in the application and not for the completion of other projects while in residence.

DEADLINE NOVEMBER 15

Applicants must submit all of the following documents by November 15, for membership in the following academic year (e.g., November 15, 2010 for the academic year 2011-2012). Consult the Guidelines for information on the following:

(1) a completed Membership Application;
(2) an updated Curriculum Vitae;
(3) a Research Proposal;
(4) a Statement about your Participation in the Interdisciplinary Colloquium; and
(5) Three Letters of Reference from scholars in your field who know you and your work and are competent to assess the merits of your proposal and your commitment to interdisciplinary thinking and conversation.
