APPLY / Guidelines

Please follow these guidelines in submitting your online application and guiding your references in submitting their recommendations:

The Application Form must be completed and submitted online in ONE SESSION. The online form does not allow you to save an incomplete application text for revision and submission at a later date. Please view a sample of the Application Form here to help you prepare the required materials in advance, before submitting online in one session.

Required fields are denoted with an asterisk. These fields must be completed at each stage before you can proceed to final submission. These fields include the following:

Personal Information

Please view the personal information you are required to complete on the Fellowship Application form and have it ready before you go online to submit.

Curriculum Vita

You should draft a curriculum vitae of no more than 1,000 words in plain text before copying it into the online application. This field should include your education, academic positions and awards held, and major publications.

Research Proposal

You should draft a research proposal of no more than 10,000 characters before copying it into the online application. This field should include a 150 word abstract, a description of your project, and a publication plan for your work at CTI, including a publishing timeline.

Three References

You should submit the names and contact information of three academic references to comment on your research proposal.

PLEASE NOTE:

You are responsible for providing your three academic references with your research proposal in advance of the deadline.

You must inform them that they must make their recommendations online. Direct them to the online Reference Form on the Center’s website: www.ctinquiry.org. From our home page, tell them to go to PROGRAM / Apply / Required Forms.

Please tell your references that the online Reference Form must be completed and submitted in ONE SESSION. The online form does not allow them to save an incomplete recommendation text on it for revision and submission at a later date. References should prepare their recommendations in advance, before submitting them into the online Reference Form.

The Center will only consider online applications and references submitted by the deadline of November 30, 2011.
