RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITY

First and foremost, CTI is a residential community of scholars, whose common life enriches their work and interdisciplinary conversation. This community has its home in Luce Hall, the Center’s Georgian-style building located in the heart of Princeton. Here the Center’s Colloquium meets and each member is given a well-equipped office on the quiet Library Floor as his or her place for daily work. The Commons Floor houses a comfortable lounge for members, a spacious meeting room for Center events, and administrative offices. Right next door is Princeton Theological Seminary’s Library, and Princeton University’s Firestone Library is only a brief walk away. Located about three miles from Luce Hall are the Templeton Townhouses where our members and their families reside. Each year, a friendly and supportive residential community grows up around Luce Hall, the townhouses, and the wider Princeton community.
