Why We Support CTI
Give Now

Each year the Center invites into residence outstanding scholars of faith who are pursuing research inquiries that benefit the church and faith communities. For example, during the 2009-2010 academic year, NT Wright, one of the world’s leading New Testament scholars, has been in residence as a Senior Member. And in Summer, 2010, the Center will run a writing workshop for academic theologians, led by Marilynne Robinson, the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Gilead and CTI Senior Member. The Center welcomes the support of congregations in all traditions that value such work on their behalf.

By putting CTI in their budget, our Companion Congregations sustain the life cycle of a mature faith. They support the outstanding scholars at CTI who sustain their pastors and teachers and stretch their own minds. Their members know the importance of a thinking faith in a complex world. That is why our Companion Congregations receive a special electronic newsletter each autumn and spring, offering exclusive interviews with scholars at the Center, sharing the fruits of their research for the life of faith. They also receive a copy of The Commons, our annual report and record of a year in the life of CTI.

Sign up now and help sustain CTI in the life cycle of a thoughtful faith. Thank you for your support.
